I never understood why Bella freaked out over his statement like that. He rather wanted her dead than one of his arch enemies, how is that so wrong? It should have shown her how much it hurts him that she willingly not only walks into her doom but also puts him into the position of having to hunt her down after the change. How else is he supposed to react? Like oh what you want to give your life and abandon your family and friends so you can be a blood-drinking monster? Ah ok that’s alright… you want me to assist? There I’ll lie down and be your first meal…
Srsly, him giving her hell for her decision only shows how much he truly cares. She has no right to be mad at him for being honest and loving her so much and he shouldn’t have to apologize for that either.
